Recording Local Talent Since 1998

The owner / head engineer graduated in the top 10% of his class from The Recording Workshop. He has had twenty years experience with local bands and three years experience working with national bands at the Newport Music Hall. He is also a practicing musician, so he has a better understanding of music than just from an engineer's point of view. The main tracking room is fifteen and a half feet by seventeen feet. There is one isolation cabinet in the main tracking room. Everyone gets to be in the same room, (with the amps in isolation) and can hear each other through the headphone mix. We here at Slaymaker Studio feel that this gives our clients a more comfortable atmosphere. Almost a live atmosphere, if you will. The control room has seating so musicians not recording can chill and watch/listen/and interact with the musicians recording.

We are proud to say that after recording here, some bands have went on to get picked up by management out of New York, signed to a label from Los Angeles, have a song played on MTV's Laguna Beach, and have Spike TV buy a song to be used on a show aired on that network. We have recorded all genres of music, Christian Barber Shop Quartets, Alternative, Boy Bands, Pop, Punk, Death Metal, Rock, and just about anything else you can think of. We have even done audio for Promo West for some of their Halloween functions. We've done voiceovers and audio for The Pataskala Haunted Forest as well. So we are more than just a recording studio, we are a full fledged production house.
